This is a cost savings version of our full service option. As part of our proactive care program palm and laces on the lower half of the glove don't take on the same stress the fingers and pocket do. If you don't need to change the palm laces of your glove this time around this is the service for you.
This version of The WRX offers a great opportunity to restore your glove to it's greatest potential, minimizes down time, and keep you fresh and game ready on the field at a great value.
GLUV WRX is built for today’s athletes and weekend warriors who still take the field. In order to maintain fast, reliable turnaround times:
- We do not offer sewing repairs.
- We don’t service vintage gloves. Our work is dedicated to gloves less than 30 years old.
The Process
- Each order is thoroughly reviewed by our Glove Pros and we will reach out with any questions.
- Before service each glove is evaluated on how it has worn, existing lacing patterns, and how existing lace has held up. Notes and recommendations are recorded.
- Clip and remove all existing laces based on the spec of your order.
- Experienced pros pre-thin your new lace, when required, then pre-treat with Glove Wax before installing the lace colors and patterns of your choice.
- Gloves are inspected for professional detail, look, and feel before being packaged up and shipped back to you.

Our pros identify buildup zones, salt rings, and high-friction stress points so the cleaning process is as precise as a relace pattern.
Every lace we use is hand-selected and performance-tested for the highest standard of feel, strength, and durability. Our lace stock comes from America’s top tanneries, the same heritage producers trusted by professional glove makers for decades, and is cut exclusively from full-grain U.S. cowhide..
We use Ball Player’s Balm Glove Cleaners & Conditioners, crafted with natural ingredients that lift dirt, sweat, and oils and then restores elasticity, enhances color, and seal the surface with a soft, protective barrier.

We approach glove cleaning as a form of leather restoration, not surface treatment. Every product we use is professional-grade, residue-free, and designed for gloves that see real play.
Our process ensures:
- Safe, non-toxic formulas compatible with all modern glove leathers (Steerhide, Kip, Japanese Kip, Cowhide).

Our lace is cut from leather averaging 6–7 oz (≈2.5 mm) thickness, the professional benchmark for pro-level glove construction. This ensures:

We never use machines to buff your glove as the heat and abrasion removes the top grain layer of the leather, greats too much friction, and shortens the lifespan of your glove.
